Please post your guest or proxy for the first game of the fall tournament here! Guests and proxies should be posted at least 24 hours before game time.
Proxies: Remember to ask your proxy to bring food or drinks in your stead. They are playing with your money (dues) and earning you tournament points.
Guests: No need to bring anything but the $5 buy-in.

Fall 2008 Tournament Schedule
Friars,
Here is the final schedule for the Fall season. As usual, the semester's tournament will be comprised of four games:
September Opener and Tournament: 26th
October Tournament: 10th
November Tournament: 14th
December Tournament: 5th
Please make note of it on your calendars. If you cannot attend a game, you are responsible for finding a proxy to play in your seat.
For those who don't know how the scoring system works:
Tournament points will be award after each game, on a bell curve from 8 points (last place) to 16 points (first place) -- regardless of the number of Friars or total players at that tournament game. Guests and their order out do not affect Friar tournament points. Guests do count for knock-out points.
First Place: The last Friar standing each night will be awarded 16 points (even if he is beaten by a guest).
Last Place: The first Friar knocked out each night will be awarded 8 points. All Friars who fail to show up or send a proxy will be awarded 8 points.
The exact break-down of points in between will be announced after we have finalized the total number of Eternal and Annual Friars playing this semester.
