The Final Patch Proof

Here it is... the final proof. They will go into production this week and we should have them in a week or two!

Let's get this patch finalized!

OK... I've changed the colors of the patch (after consulting with the patch company) to offer the logo more dimension. Given the new colors, I thought it might be best if we consider black blazers instead of navy... to some that is far more appealing, to others (especially those who might have already picked one up at the thrift store) they might like the navy. Let's take a vote. I think the new patch looks much better and that it would look much better on a black blazer (and on a red one as well), not to mention if you wanted to iron one on a black hat. Anyway, please vote in the comments. I would like to confirm this with the patch company before the weekend is over.

The Results are In!!!

By a vote of 4 for the "right one" and 2 for the "left one" (also one for both and one for the middle), it looks like the one on the right of the post below will be our official patch for our jackets.

Cast Your Vote for the Club Logo

We need to put the order in for our club patch that will adorn our jackets and grace our chips. My original design, as seen above, had a character of a leisurely poker-playing friar. Even if we don't want this for a club embroidered crest, I think it would make a great t-shirt design down the road. Recently, however, I thought a simple "F" might look a bit more sophisticated on a blazer. I have included three samples for your choosing. (Click on the pics to enlarge). If anyone has an alternative crest idea, feel free to design it and send it to me. I need to get the design to the patch company fairly soon, so please cast your votes.
